We invited Kozo Takei, CEO of Diamond Media Co., Ltd., for a management conversation.
Following the first "Horacy Management and Bali Flat Management", in the second "Salary and Evaluation to Speak Honestly", we will be naked to the point where it is difficult to reveal in ordinary companies! In this final episode, we talked about each other's visions.
Part 3 "The Future We Aim For"

Diamond Media Follows Nature's Providence
Nakamura
I would like to summarize the conversation soon, but please tell us what you and Diamond Media want to do and realize in the future.
Takei
In terms of management, I want to create a highly reproducible management system that includes the stock part. On the business side, we are creating a market where there are no competitors, and the barriers to entry are high, so we want to take our time to build really good services. Diamond Media has no management plan, corporate philosophy, mission, vision, or credo. The company believes that it will grow on its own like a plant, so I would like to work hard to remove things that hinder growth. However, I don't think the world will listen to this kind of management unless it produces performance results, so I would like to focus on business performance as well.
Nakamura
In that sense, you are managing a business that is different from the visionary company way of thinking in the world.
Takei
That's right. I want to create a state that follows the providence of nature. If I say it, that may be a vision, but I have no intention of putting forward something like "Let's go this way for our company in this industry" in the future.
Nakamura
Is it the idea that if the organization is naturally run as people are, something valuable will come out of it voluntarily?
Takei
I think that way we can properly provide what the world needs, and I don't think we will create things that the world doesn't need with our ego. Anyway, I would like to continue to value the process and share it with everyone to create good things.

ISAO Achieves Vision
Nakamura
The establishment and order of thinking are a little different from mine. I still think that there should be something you want to do. This is the mission, vision, and medium-term vision of ISAO, and it roughly determines the direction of the company. To that end, I want to change the world like this! I think we need a passionate passion, and I want to think that we are together for that. However, we will actively accept what is derived from doing so.
Takei
There is also an approach to that way of thinking.
Nakamura
I believe that ISAO's management issues in the future must be to manage to further accelerate growth from the V-shaped recovery in business performance. We must be strong to protect this flat, open and fun ISAO. In order to achieve ISAO's mission and vision, I feel that it is necessary to create a team that has both fun and toughness. In today's conversation, I was able to learn more about each other's commonalities and differences, and I learned a lot from them. Thank you very much.
Takei
Thank you very much.
This conversation ended with a deeper understanding of each other's organizations and their goals. However, the conversation did not end, and after this, we changed places and talked passionately and passionately. Thank you very much, Mr. Takei!
