If you are looking forward to work, life is paradise. If it's suffering, it's hell (from Wikipedia)
These are the words of the Russian writer Maxim Gorky.
I will not mention his merits and demerits here, but Karakul feels a high sense of sympathy for these words, which he shouts that whether or not he can enjoy his work is directly related to the quality of his life.
On the other hand, life is reality. You can't live without something that comes before you, and you can't live a satisfying life. How can we balance them? It may be an eternal theme.
It's early, and I'm going to run again in 2022. I would like to write this blog with my new vision - Color Your Work with Excitement - and my resolutions for next year.
What is Career Success in Capitalism?
In general, success in a work career tends to be based on how much you have risen in a reputable company, how much you have risen, and how much you are recognized as a person of high human value, and how much you pay a higher salary.
In this capitalist society, it would be a concept that many people cannot deny.
However, when I think about my life as a whole, I've been thinking a lot lately about whether it can really be called success.
Money and Work
However, the difficult part of modern society is that you can't say, "Salary doesn't matter, if you can do the job you want to do, it's a great work career."
Unless you are a very wealthy person, many people live on their earned salary, support their families, and use the money to do various things on it.
Money can also be thought of as "as much as you have". However, on the other hand, there is also data that shows that happiness decreases when income exceeds a certain level.
In my personal sense, if you are single, if you have an annual income of about 10 million yen, you will not be in trouble unless you indulge a lot, and even if you support your family, you will need many times that amount.
"Well, let's do a job that is at a reasonable level, so let's do a job that makes us happy," but the world is not so sweet, and only a small part of people in Japan receive a salary that is financially sufficient for the time being.
By the way, the median annual income in Japan has been falling steadily since the bubble and is currently 3.99 million yen. It's not enough for 10 million yen at all. (Quote: Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's monthly labor statistics survey results for February 4)
If Japanese society as a whole is at this level, it will not be able to afford it without raising salaries. So, I think that in Japan, there will be a trend of "salary, salary".
Doing a Suffering Work and Earning a Salary
So, if you want a higher salary, this doesn't seem to be the case either.
Middle-aged and elderly people who are tied to their salaries and cannot change jobs have become a social problem, and as the title of this blog suggests, if work is painful, it is hell.
Growth Environment and Reflection in Salary
In a situation where the average level is "insufficient", what I think as a manager is first of all "how can we raise salaries".
If you review your past blogs, I have written quite a bit about salary, so if you are interested, please read it as well.
I've written quite a lot (sweat)
By the way, there are quite a few people in the world who bring "rewarding" first, but I don't think it's realistic. If you don't think about how to make it rewarding after you have no financial problems, your life will remain difficult.
There are only a handful of people in the world who can receive high salaries from new employees, so how to build your career is an important point.
In particular, the growth environment in your 20s and 30s is very important.
Recently, the good old Japanese style of lifelong employment has collapsed, and companies have been unable to take the form of "salary does not increase even if your skills improve when you are young, but it will be rewarded after your 40s".
However, in large companies, there is a moment of inertia, and the situation that "young people's salaries cannot be paid according to their abilities" does not change overnight. And the more problematic thing is that we are dragging on the past seniority that "you can't be given a position until you reach a certain age."
It is natural but important to pay not only the growth environment of people in their 20s and 30s, but also the position and salary linked to that growth.
And there are not many companies that have been able to achieve this...
Color Your Work with Excitement
Karakul's management is committed to the growth environment, the position and salary corresponding to that growth.
Just because you are young, or conversely, because you are older, does not mean that your salary is determined by the system.
We will deepen such a culture, and on top of that, we will develop services around the world that make the work of workers colorful and enjoyable.
The path is not easy, but working as a team to achieve and achieve is truly fun and "paradise".
Aiming to be a company that enjoys work and can give back to society, Karakul will continue to move forward at full throttle in 2023.
