Nice to meet you! I joined Colorkrew as a SaaS sales officer in October last year.
(I'm the one with the funny face in the middle)
First, let me tell you about my origins.
I was born and raised in a self-employed family in Toyama Prefecture, and currently live with my wife and daughter.
In junior high and high school, I devoted myself to basketball in earnest and spent my days aiming to become a regular. There were times when I couldn't play in the game, but I thought to myself, "Is it the only right answer to be a regular?" and tried and tested to see if there was anything I could contribute to the team.
I was able to find my worth by speaking up, caring about my surroundings, and inspiring my peers as a mood maker.
This way of thinking is a value that I still cherish even now that I am a member of society.
Why We Chose Colorkrew
Colorkrew will be my fourth company.
In my previous job, I worked at Recruit for about 8 years, learning the basics of sales and "Iroha".
As a sales representative for car sensors in recruit media, I have been in charge of a wide range of fields from retail sales to corporate sales, and I feel that I have been able to grow greatly by learning the importance of honesty and perseverance as a salesperson. I also experienced management for two years as a team leader.
After experiencing team leadership, I wanted to test my skills not only in the automotive field, but also in any industry.
That's when I came across Colorkrew.
I was strongly attracted to Colorkrew's products that focus on the "working environment".
In my previous job, as a leader, I was involved in activities to increase the engagement of my colleagues through support such as 1 on 1. I was also interested in how the team can work productively and efficiently, partly due to the impact of work style reforms.
That's why I remember being fascinated by Colorkrew's products, including "Colorkrew Biz," which reduces nameless work.
In addition, I was attracted to the fact that there are many foreign members on the list. I thought that having the opportunity to learn about the world's work styles would help me develop a broader perspective on sales skills and knowledge.
Above all, the corporate culture with many "serious fools" was also one of the deciding factors (laughs).
The charm of the job of sales!!

To be honest, sales is hard (laughs). I often want to run away...
However, I also really think that by encountering many barriers and overcoming many difficulties, I can strongly feel growth and rewarding in my job.
Sales is the core of the company. The overwhelming number of people involved are inside and outside the company, and you are the "face" of the company. You can carry your own brand on your back and make proposals and build success together with your clients.
And the results will lead to the joy of the company. With these things as a driving force, I am struggling with excitement every day.
What is important in sales
"Think about things from the other person's point of view"
This is a stance that I have been conscious of since my first year as a member of society.
Sales is not straightforward. Difficult walls are always inevitable, but the "thickness" and "height" of the wall vary from person to person. Recently, diversity has become more important, and I feel that the state of communication is being questioned even more.
That's why "flexible communication skills" that accurately grasp the trend of the times and the other party's situation are essential for sales. I believe that this is the part where humanity is revealed and an important skill to make things go smoothly.
"The strength to keep doing honestly is the strongest weapon"
What is important for sales.
I think it's honesty.
If you have no experience, first of all, "thoroughly slap". I value this attitude. If you keep doing it honestly, you will eventually see the light.
Many people are not good at continuing to do the same thing and give up halfway through. However, I believe that a stance that continues to act with conviction will always attract those around you.
About work after joining the company
It's been 8 months since I joined Colorkrew.
Currently, I am a member of the SaaS sales team and am working on new sales of my own SaaS products. Mainly outbound, I am in charge of everything from getting appointments to setting up business negotiations and receiving orders.
We conduct at least 50 tele-appointments every day and act with the goal of winning two first-time business deals. He has also built a career as a salesperson, but has no experience in the SaaS or IT industry. Every day, I work on my work while inputting my knowledge of IT and products. (This is the most difficult...)
What would you like to tell someone who joins Colorkrew as a mid-career salesperson

I think many SaaS companies adopt a sales system called "The MODEL" (division of labor such as inside sales, field sales, and customer success). On the other hand, Colorkrew does not officially deploy this "The MODEL", and its main feature is that it is committed to sales at once.
Many of Colorkrew's sales teams handle everything from new outbound opportunity acquisition to nurturing and closing. I feel that this will train my overwhelming sales power.
In addition, the distinction between retail, mid, and enterprise markets is not clear, so there are many opportunities to actively commit to the areas you want to challenge.
Finally.
As I have repeatedly said, the theme of "work" is now a common issue all over the world.
I am very excited to gain sales experience in such a "super horizontal" area. I would like to work with friends who can experience such excitement together!
