Nice to meet you, everyone! My name is Sugiyama, and I have been in business as a new graduate since April of this year.
First of all, I am a fan of Colorkrew and this blog. It is no exaggeration to say that I have read most of the past articles. I am filled with overwhelming feelings that the time has finally come for me to write a blog, but this time I would like to tell you about the company Colorkrew from my point of view.
How I Got to Know Colorkrew
The reason I learned about Colorkrew was a bit special, when I saw a video of a collaboration between a super famous YouTuber and Colorkrew. Yes, this is an interview video of Tokai On Air. As a full-fledged Tokai on-air fan, I thought at the time, "Is there such a free company?" I was surprised when a dreaded person suddenly appeared, but the fact that YouTubers and companies collaborate in the form of appearing in videos rather than providing projects seemed to represent Colorkrew's freedom and flexibility. The two people who appear in the video are still in charge of interviews and interviews, so maybe we will have a chance to talk to you!
Our office has a Tokai On Air sign. I always grin when I see this.

Why You Joined the Company
From there, time passed, and I was looking for a job, and I met Colorkrew again. I wanted to become a high-value human resource who could quickly spread technologies and products that would bring about innovation to the world, so I was looking for a job with the intention of selling SaaS products and IT infrastructure, but I learned once again that a strange company I was collaborating with a Youtuber was developing business in both fields. Moreover, it has been selected as Microsoft's "Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2023", and its track record is quite impressive. At first, I only recognized it as a company that collaborated with Tokai On-Air, and to be honest, there were parts where I couldn't grasp the actual situation, but when I saw the people involved in the interview talking about the company really happily and talking about their business with pride, I was attracted by their enthusiasm and decided to join the company. By this time, I had already read this blog and became a fan of Colorkrew.
About the Appeal of Colorkrew
Now, what I feel when I actually join Colorkrew, which has such a unique aspect, is that it is a company where strange people enjoy their work to the fullest in a good way. There are people everywhere who are like a mass of personality, and about a quarter of them are multicultural, with global human resources. Moreover, there are no positions and everyone has a flat relationship. Literally, it is quite an overload of information, but the point is that we all have a common desire to deliver "fun" to the world. One of the attractions is that opinions on the company's products and businesses are actively exchanged, and if it is a good opinion, it can be incorporated regardless of position or age. I think that people who can express and share their opinions will be very welcome to the people at Colorkrew.
Colorkrew also has a lot of information open about it, from its own activities to how other employees are evaluated. For me, I really like this point. If you act alone, there is a limit to your thoughts and perspectives. I think that being able to know what goals others are toward and what they are working on is an important indicator for you not to get lost in your work.
For example, using the HR Tech tool "Goalous", our CEO Nakamura, who is from sales, gives feedback on business negotiations to each salesperson. You can see all the feedback, videos of actual business meetings, and more. Moreover, it is a tremendous pace of one feedback every day. I don't think there is much other environment like this. In fact, through this initiative, I was able to learn a lot of know-how and tips in sales.
As an IT solution salesperson, I spend my days in the field of IT infrastructure and security, but I learn every day by watching the backs of everyone who shows their knowledge and mindset in business negotiations and work. I am a person who loves juniors, so my current goal is to grow into a sales company that allows me to confidently show my back to my juniors who will join the company.

Advice for everyone who is working hard in job hunting
What I can say to everyone who is working job hunting is that you should show your true self in interviews. Of course, it is important to prepare well and gather information about the company before going to the interview, but I don't think you need to adapt your thoughts and answers to the company or lie about it. What I want to say is that even if your job search doesn't go well, never rush. I am a ridiculous latecomer with two repeat years and a job offer in August, but I was able to meet a company that I liked so much that I could say I was a fan, Colorkrew. Choosing a company for new graduates is a major turning point in their lives. That's why don't be swept away by the opinions and environment around you, and do your best when looking for a job with your own axis!
