Hello! This is Motoki, who joined Colorkrew midway through February this year. It's been half a year since I joined the company. I am in charge of sales for Colorkrew Biz, a product of Colorkrew. By the way, Colorkrew Biz is a business concierge tool to improve the complicated tasks called "nameless jobs" such as finding people at a free address, scheduling for hybrid work, and tally work in asset management and equipment management.
My previous job was at a financial institution, and although the environment is very different, I am confused at first by the cultural differences, but I enjoy new challenges every day! In this blog, I will tell you about the sales training camp we held in April this year.
About the Training Camp
The sales team of Colorkrew Biz held a training camp in April of this year. The purpose is to improve team strength and discuss new features. After receiving advice on where to camp from a member who was familiar with the cottage, I decided to rent an old folk house-style cottage called "mysa" in Hakone. Isn't it playing a CD with background music? It was a wonderful facility rich in nature where you could hear the warblers singing. I feel that we were able to have a relaxed and constructive discussion in a different environment than usual.

Discussion
We traveled from Tokyo to Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, and as soon as we arrived, we discussed the new features of Colorkrew Biz. We shared ideas for new functions by writing and listing the functions that are often requested by customers, partner companies, and our own company on sticky notes. I could clearly see that each and every one of them thinks that Colorkrew Biz will be better if it becomes like this. Also, while exchanging opinions, I realized that one of the attractions of working at Colorkrew is that the environment where we can come up with ideas regardless of position or experience is one of the attractions. Of course, I was able to have my opinions heard without distinction when I first joined the company, and we were able to have good discussions. Since each of us usually negotiates with customers as sales, an environment where we can concentrate on these discussions was very valuable and an important time. The conclusion of the discussion was that we narrowed down the five features that we thought were essential to implement, and decided to involve the development team to share that information in the future.

Communication
After the discussion, we had a barbecue with the ingredients we all bought. All the necessary equipment for barbecue was available, so we were able to barbecue stress-free, and we enjoyed delicious food and drinks while chatting about everything from work to private life. There was also a tent sauna, so I woke up early in the morning and spent time in the sauna. By spending two days and one night together, we were able to get to know each other better, and I feel that it has led to an improvement in team strength.

What is good about Colorkrew?
In my opinion, the big feature of Colorkrew is that the company as a whole is positive. All of them embody the company's mission of "having fun! I feel that I am working positively in my respective roles every day to do what is necessary for that purpose, and I am glad that I joined the company. Because the embodiment of vision seems easy but difficult.
It's been half a year since I joined the company, but I feel firsthand that I have been accepted as a member of the team from an early stage, and I want to achieve great results in this team. I feel that this is a culturally appropriate company for those who want to achieve great results as a team rather than individual success, so if you are motivated, please try a new challenge with Colorkrew!
