2. What you do as an intern
During my internship, I am mainly in charge of sales operations.
We also participated in exhibitions with various companies to respond to visitors and acquire leads. After that, we make tele-appointments for the leads we have acquired, and if we get an appointment, we also participate in actual business negotiations. By being involved in a series of processes from on-site responses to subsequent approaches and business negotiations, I was able to learn the entire process of sales activities through practical work.
3. What I Learned Through the Internship
What I especially felt through the internship was the importance of trial and error.
What particularly impressed me was that even if it is the same product, the appointment acquisition rate varies greatly depending on how it is explained. For the first three weeks or so, I didn't know how to tell them how to get them interested, and I only made one appointment. However, I received advice from my seniors and reviewed my way of speaking many times.
As a result, we have grown from almost zero appointments to now getting about one out of ten calls with the person in charge, and three out of fifteen appointments on many days.
Through this experience, I realized that the accumulation of improvements is directly linked to results.
