On October 27, 2021, at the office of Bunshodo Co., Ltd. in Ginza, Tokyo, we held a "Collaboration Office Tour" with Bunshodo × Colorkrew Biz.
Bunshodo, which has a history and know-how of more than 100 years in office construction and has been involved in all kinds of office creation with changes in the world, and Colorkrew Biz, which was born to eliminate the "nameless work" related to people, goods, and money hidden in the office, will face new ways of working such as telework and the ideal way of the office in the corona disaster. This office tour aims to create new value for the office and "work". Although there was a limit on the number of people under strict infection control measures, they actually visited the Bunshodo office.
This time, we were particular about allowing you to experience the office filled with Bunshodo's desire to "make working people happy through office creation" in a real way, and it was held offline for the first time in a long time. If you were unable to come to the event due to distant places, or if you are interested in the future of the office and new ways of working, we hope that this report will be useful for the success points of introducing free addresses!
Part 1: Introduction to Bunshodo, the master of office creation & Introduction to "Colorkrew Biz", a tool that reduces unnamed work in the office

In the first part, we will introduce Bunshodo and Colorkrew Biz.
Bunshodo, which has been involved in office development for a long time, introduced free addresses in its own offices at an early stage, and reflected them in its own office construction in line with the trend of the times and changes in work styles.
In the recent corona disaster, new ways of working such as telework have been promoted, and many customers feel that the office itself is a challenge, so how can we make proposals that can promote the thoughts of each customer in a comprehensive manner based on their own issues and experiences?
There I came across a service called "Colorkrew Biz".
What kind of thinking is Colorkrew Biz a service created with?
We introduced the issues in the office that change with the times and work styles, how to reduce so-called 'nameless work', the history of listening to customer feedback and reflecting it in our services, and the success stories of customers who actually use it.

Part 2: Office Tour Bunshodo Office Tour Experience
In the second part, under strict infection control measures, we were divided into small groups and actually went on a tour of the Bunshodo office.

The Bunshodo office, which combines free address and fixed seating, has been devised in every detail, from office layout to design, stationery, and furniture selection.
The customers who participated in the tour were enthusiastic about taking notes and asking various questions, which was a good thing because they could experience it in real life.
In addition, we have introduced Colorkrew Biz in our Bunshodo office, and we installed a Biz QR code with a unique design that is unique to Bunshodo, and we also introduced how employees actually use it and recommended installation methods.

Part 3: Panel Discussion
In the third part, we answered questions from participants and common concerns associated with the introduction of free addresses in a discussion format.
There are problems with free addresses
- The "I don't know where I am" problem
- The problem of "large variation in popularity depending on the area/seat"
- The problem of "communication is not active"

Many of the people who participated this time were in charge of general affairs and office reviews (office relocation, office reduction, and rinvation), but they nodded greatly to all the questions, and I realized that the concerns about "introducing free addresses" are common.

The secret to a successful free address was answered in various questions in your question.
Exactly!
- Free addresses are not magic
Recognize that the introduction of free addresses does not increase communication, but is an opportunity to increase, and do not let it end with the introduction. - Repeating hypothesis testing until you get closer to your goals or objectives
In providing a "comfortable office to work in", the means may inevitably deviate from the purpose and goals as we proceed. I believe that the most important thing is to constantly observe and correct at a fixed point. - Devise a way not to be influenced only by the opinions of people with loud voices. Through questionnaires and workshops, try to get as many people as possible involved in office building. The secret to success is to value the process of creating an office together with the people who actually use it.
We are planning an office tour again in 2022!
It will also be held with a new theme, but we will make it an event that can realize our concept of "making workers happy through office creation" × "eliminating nameless jobs for office workers and making workers happy", so please feel free to join us.
