Hello, this is Aimi Nakajima.
Yesterday, July 11th (Wednesday), ISAO hosted the "Smart Speaker and AI Voice Assistant Business Utilization Seminar & VUI Experience Workshop".
Just a week ago, I was able to take the stage at VUILT Girls' Party @ Amazon Japan, and it's a lot of fun to have a lot of events related to Sumaspi!

Thinking about VUX from sample utterances: Launching Tokyu Hands Skill

Hands Lab Co., Ltd. has released the Tokyu Hands Alexa skill.
I was able to hear from engineer Matsumoto about the events held at the store and the secret story of the development of skills that tell business hours.
It seems that it was difficult to create a lot of sample utterances, and it took about the same amount of time to release after development was completed.

Hands Lab also participated in this seminar held in April and reported on his blog.
Hands Lab Blog I participated in the smart speaker & VUI event hosted by ISAO!
By the way, the T-shirt that Mr. Matsumoto is wearing is not for sale to developers who have released Alexa skills. I envy you!
You can watch videos and details of Tokyu Hands Skill on SmartHacks.
The spread of smart speakers and Japan's future predictions found in American life

In the past six months, I have lived in the United States twice, for a total of three months.
After looking at the leading U.S. market, we talked about how smart speakers are spreading in Japan with information and considerations.
I covered the same theme in April and June, but in recent months both Amazon Echo and Google Home have had a lot of big updates and news, and I'm always surprised at how quickly they have evolved.
Last month, I visited not only Texas but also Alexa skills and Google Assistant app startups in San Francisco, so I tried to share my real voices from the local consumer and developer perspectives.
I will introduce that on this blog on another occasion.
Create a VUI Design (Voice User Interface) |

VUI workshops are always popular.
This time, this program will also use the design sprint method to experience one of the following two types of skill planning, dialogue flow design, and user testing.
- Alexa skills you want to use in your spare time at home
- Google Home app you want to have in your work break room
Many interesting ideas came up, such as skills that allow children to sing together, and an app that allows you to find members you want to drink today in the company.

The Amazon Echo Spot with screen will be released in Japan soon, so the possibilities of skill planning are likely to expand even more!
