Since we have one of the leading information networks in Japan, we were able to talk about the industry as a whole and compare the business development of each company, which is easy to understand and comprehensive even for beginners.

The spread of smart speakers and Japan's future predictions found in American life
From here is my part.
During my two-month stay in Texas, USA, in the winter of 2017, I talked about how smart speakers are becoming popular in the U.S. and what will happen in Japan in the future after seeing the leading U.S. market.
In fact, I will be going to the United States on a long-term business trip again next month and will be living there for a while, so I plan to do more market research!

In the last part, a workshop was held.
In a group of four, under the assumption that one of them would develop a skill or app, we had them come up with ideas for what they could do with skills and design the flow of dialogue.

I have introduced it several times in this blog, using the design sprint method, to diverge and aggregate ideas in a short time.
In the final test process, we conducted experiments to see if the designed dialogue flow would work, divided into speaker roles and user roles.
Everyone who was relatively quiet at the seminar burst into laughter at the unexpected test results!
The venue became peaceful all at once.
Although it is a digest version, I was able to experience the series of processes of planning, VUI design, and testing.
