Hello, this is Hara, who is in charge of Azure. This is Day 3, the last day of the Azure edition of the session that I was interested in at build 2016.
Day 3
On the last day, until 3 p.m. today, there is no keynote speech.
HoloLens Experience Corner
There was a booth where you could experience "Destination Mars", which is scheduled to be released at JPL this summer. However, I couldn't make it in time for the one I went to line up after 9 o'clock. According to what I heard later, it seems that there was a line from quite early.

【Building Collaborative Educational Experience in HoloLens】
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2016/T703-R3 Although the link was posted, the video was not released. Too bad. He explained how to use Unity to create an app that works together across multiple HoloLenses. Unity is versatile. One HoloLens will become a server and operate synchronously in a server-client model.
【Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Warehouse: Applying Modern Practices to Your App】
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2016/B813
We talked about how to use Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Warehouse to analyze large data in a modern architecture. It was classified into four stages: "Ingestion", "Staging", "Processing", and "Serving", and the discussion was about what kind of approach is suitable for each stage, and the focus was on how to handle large-scale data rather than explaining the functions of Azure.
【Building Hyper-Scale Web and Mobile Apps with Azure App Service】
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2016/B825
Scale session on how to build a backend for web and mobile apps with App Service, again the keyword is "Hyper-Scale". As a large-scale example, an example of scaling an App Service Environment to 1,300 cores was introduced. From "Make your app stateless" to specific stories such as "Turn off ARR Affinity" and "It's slow to output logs to local storage", it was a summary of useful insights for mastering App Service (unfortunately, you can't download the slides). It made sense to bundle multiple App Service Environments in Traffic Manager and scale them at scale.
Windows Weekly Live Broadcast
A live broadcast of an online program introducing Microsoft's technology was held at the event venue. Here is the scene of the day: https://twit.tv/shows/windows-weekly/episodes/459?autostart=false It seemed to be a famous program, and it was very exciting with a large number of people
【How Google Uses TypeScript】
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2016/T669-R1
Unfortunately, there is no video of this. Evan Martin talked about the use of TypeScript for Angular 2.
【Optimizing Educational Visualizations for HoloLens】
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2016/T713-R2 There is no video here either. An explanation of the case study of HoloLens applied to medical education that appeared in the keynote speech. Once again, Unity was here. He introduced what he had done to make objects for HoloLens without manual work, such as making custom shaders and making tools to thin out too much data from MRIs.
[End of Event]
From around 2 p.m., each booth was withdrawn sequentially with a disbanded feeling. The light of the fireflies did not flow, and the curtain ended with a light feeling.
【Microsoft Store】
There was a Microsoft Store near the hotel, so I stopped by. There were some attractive devices, such as the Band 2 and the Lumia 950 XL, but we'll leave it out for this time.

[After finishing the build]
Looking back again, it was a really rich three days. This time, I mainly participated in Azure-related sessions, but it was a good opportunity to take a bird's-eye view of the services that continue to be announced every day. Another advantage of participating in the field was that I was able to realize a lot of things through the atmosphere of the venue and interaction with the participants
And from now on, I will do my best every day to follow up and practice the content that I couldn't pick up at the venue.
